Over 200 participants from 24 countries show that the International Symposium on District Heating and Cooling is now best established forum for District Heating and Cooling Research and the most important meeting place for researchers in our field. Thank you all of you that came and made this event a great success for international research on District Heating and Cooling.
The DHC14 offers a great opportunity to learn about the latest research from leading international experts from Europe, Asia and North America. It is also an arena for interesting discussions with researchers, industry leaders and other DHC experts. Come and take part in the latest research, exchange ideas and results and extend your networks with researchers and industry leaders!
There were 60 speakers from 24 countries giving presentations on a wide range of topics in the DHC-field. A number of parallel sessions cover the themes Low temperature district heating for future energy systems, Planning and development of urban energy systems, Resource efficiency and environmental performance, Key elements in district heating and cooling systems and Customer relations, market issues, pricing and costs.
This is the 14th conference, hence the name DHC14. And for the first time we are proud to invite you to join us in Stockholm, Sweden. The Swedish District Heating Association, also a DHC research funder through the national program Fjärrsyn, is the host of the conference.
Several technical visits give you an opportunity to see the world’s largest District Cooling network and learn more about a new biofuelled CHP plant. There is also a possibility to visit a new CHP waste to energy plant, or the experimental facilities at the Royal School of Technology. Or maybe you find it more interesting to sign up for a guided tour at the 15th century Vasa ship that sank on her maiden voyage but was salvaged and lifted to the surface again after 333 years.
The Symposium 2014 was held in Stockholm, Sweden.
The 14th International Symposium on District Heating and Cooling has already taken place. To the Proceedings here.
