This is Swedish District Heating Association
We are sixteen people working at the office of Swedish District Heating Association. We all have our specialist fields for which we bear responsibility, maintaining cutting edge knowledge as well.
Swedish District Heating Association is working to make the district heating industry an obvious, growing part of an energy future which is ecologically sound, and financially and socially sustainable.
Here are some of the issues we work within:
- Provision of information to politicians and other decision-makers in Sweden and within the EU.
- Dealing with research and development in the industry in cooperation with the Swedish Energy Agency. - Production of industry requirements through technical regulations adapted totally with current, tried and tested technology, plus standards and directives.
- Working with testing, standardisation and quality assurance of products.
- Working with issues related to climate and the environment. The superb environmental qualities of district heating are worth working with in the best way possible.
- Working with market issues to allow our members to implement new, groundbreaking measures on the market and nurture current customer relations both now and in the future.
- Producing and publicating statistics of district heating and cooling in Sweden
- Working with information in the form of conferences, trade fairs, reports, newspapers, printed matter, websites and lots more besides, with a view to passing on news and knowledge of the industry.
